The Municipality of Byblos-Jbail, in collaboration with the Institute for Development, Research, Advocacy and Applied Care (IDRAAC), and with the financial support of the European Union has implemented the “Elderly Empowerment Project”.
This project aims at integrating the elderly into the community at large. Companies and associations within the jurisdiction of the Municipality of Byblos-Jbail were contacted to check for the availability of work opportunities, volunteering opportunities and leisure activities for adults aged 60+. The following database includes companies and associations who are supportive of hosting adults aged 60+ at their premises or who offer leisure activities for them.
