Summary
Forty-one Arab undergraduate students were randomly selected and assigned to two treatment groups. The subjects in the experimental group were told to refrain from immediately answering questions on the WAIS Picture Completion and Similarities subtests. The control group was examined according to the normal standardized procedure. A significant difference in the direction of the latency treatment was noted: the experimental group had higher scores on both subtests. Moreover, additional F tests indicated no sex differences.
