Administered an Arabic version of the Masculinity-Femininity scale of the MMPI to 150 male and 150 female university students. 31 items differentiated between the 2 sexes, and 29 items did not. It is concluded that item validity should be studied when tests developed in one culture are to be used in another culture, since they may attach different meanings to specific items.
