Reviews all articles relevant to the mind-body-disease issue published from 1978 to 1984 in the Egyptian Journal of Psychiatry, the official journal of the Egyptian Psychiatric Association. Areas of focus include the linkage between mental processes and subsequent disease states; variables that serve as likely mechanisms of mind-disease relationships; and interaction among psychological factors, the nervous system, and immunity.
